I have a Renault 21 F reg, Blue,that has been off the road for a good few years but had a lot of new parts fitted a year or so before it went off the road, brakes, exhaust, cylinder head reconditioned, headlight, bushes, tyres, clutch, radiator, cables, etc. I got it running at the weekend, the engine sounds okay and it runs in all gears, I gave it a quick check over and most of the bobywork is sound, (tapped it with a hammer), there are rust spots/holes on the sills and at the D/S back lower wheel arch, these will need welded, the front cross member below the radiator is okay and the exhaust is solid. The interior is in good condition and all electrics work.
The paintwork has flaked on the bonnet and roof and some rust spots on various parts of the bodywork. The mileage is 133000. I would prefer someone would restore it or get some use of it rather than scrap it. I have photos that I could send if you are interested.
I live in Airdrie ML6 8JD. The car has been in our family for around 20 years.
I am only looking for the scrap value £80.
