Megane Inferno 3 door phase one 225

Need ignition on to use clip, long push on the start button with key int he slot until fuel pump primes. Click the force search option on multiplex scan and it will prob pick up the other modules.

Bang a throttle body on and should be reet.

No idea what that coslad thing is, new one to me ive not seen that. @Moggy will know what it is

Thanks @Brigsy , throttle body doesn't seem to match inlet....as in its visibly dirtier on the outside than manifold, add to that the vac pipe clip bust, leads me into thinking someone's been in here before, either robbed a good body from it, or tried a S/H one, car was pinged around trade last few months, hence it was cheap and came to me.
Think I'll whip it off today and see whether someone's been in and tried cleaning it, I'll trace loom and look for any corrosion, after that I either try a another one or spew up and get a new one, but I'll explore all avenues etc first.
I want to de bug it before I start pulling the doors off to sort hinge mounts, but there's no real rush
It'll take what it takes.
Think I need to adopt you and @Moggy as my 225 Dad's....

You know, i don’t

one of mine, I think it’s the trophy comes up with the same “unable to find”

Not sure if it’s something to do with the loom on the ph1 for xenon or the cabasse

one of these days I’ll look into it, but everything on mine works apart from that, so I’ve never bothered 🤣

Bit cheeky this but can I buy that TB off you if you change it?
Nothing cheeky about that, I'll bear your in mind.
Why?......can you fix them or to butcher it for another purpose?
I'll warn you though, it might take a while cos I'll wriggle like an oily snake on an ice rink before I stump up for new Renault one......

I want to take it apart and get the casting vapour blasted. Don't want to do that with my existing one in case I fuck it up and/or can't get it back together etc.

As suspected, clean as a whistle, I can see scrape marks where someone's been in, no dodgy connections, only one connection onto TB, then goes in engine loom direct to ECU, motor housing doesn't have any moisture damage.
Think I'll sniff elsewhere first.

Gave TB a blast with carb cleaner, worked it to and fro, deoxit on plug, all back with a fresh tie wrap on vac pipe....IMG_20210718_120007973_HDR.jpg

Even got shut of coslad.....PAS won't feck off or airbag, but I've got shut of other lights, think road test is next step.....watch the fucker light up like Blackpool, is there a way to config seats out?
I'm clicking and pressing all-sorts....seem to have lost the ECU map when I test computers....
But car starts and idles better, blip throttle and it settles to 800 , I'm learning, but I wouldn't drive it anywhere unless I could roll it home downhill...

You can program the seat airbags out easy enough, but should be easy enough to fix properly. Whats stored on airbag ecu

I'll have a proper look later on in the week, take s few pics, it wasn't my priority then, injection fault was what I wanted to look into first and I feel I've got somewhere, even if same fault pops up, this time fecking about with TB got rid of it so I'm in right direction.

@Brigsy
Here's some screen shots of airbag fault/sIMG_20210722_192532451_HDR.jpgIMG_20210722_192552566_HDR.jpgIMG_20210722_192615795_HDR.jpgIMG_20210722_192629830_HDR.webpIMG_20210722_192657575_HDR.webpIMG_20210722_192716755_HDR.webpIMG_20210722_192728683_HDR.webp

Connector under passenger seat has had the blue and grey( iirc ) cut out and joined, drivers is un butchered, can't be sure wires are connected correctly as I didn't do it, can't see how I'd be able to check .

Probably just wiring that. You could disconnect them and program them out, but depends if you want the safety features working. Rest of the airbags will work OK once light is off.

Yep, diagnostic page gives various readings on circuits, so it's a case of tracing stuff out, see what affects what, think there's all-sorts of contacts , like when seat is tilted that could be issues.
I've been recommended E3 technical, a subscription online fault finder by a mate in the trade he swears by, so I might give that a whizz.
