Illiads £18k, £15k & £12k

There are there 3 straight illiads on PistonHeads at the mo...
#1 £18k for 10k miles
#2 £15k for 20K miles
#3 £12k for 30k miles

According to my calculations the Vee depreciates at 30p / mile... :)

I can see this in one of them intelligence tests ....

Given the following, how much would the 4th V6 be worth ...

#1 £18k for 10k miles
#2 £15k for 20K miles
#3 £12k for 30k miles
#4 £??k for 40k miles

I somehow don't think in reality the answer would be £9k ...

It's a bit like house prices, good time to upgrade to a bigger property as the gap is closing.

With this in mind I'm keeping my eye out for sensibly priced mark 2's :)

Sorry to disappoint anyone but this is a thread by Kett from 2009 I came across whilst going back in the Forum time machine ;)
I guess today 7 years on you could double those prices for an Illiad blue ??
£36k for 10k miles
£30k for 20k miles
£24k for 30k miles

btw Does this qualify as thread resurrection of the year or tease of the year

I wish I had the spare cash at the time to buy this one!

Ended up paying 2k more for an illiad with 10k more miles (which was still a bargain) lol

That's Keirs isn't it?

I can remember the phase 2 illiads dipping just below 10k about 5 years ago - how times and value have changed.

I think the cheapest (straight) Ph2 was a Mars Red that Stephel Dell bought. I'm thinking £9k.
It was a bit unloved and Mars was unpopular then.

For complete cars... Have seen a ph1 sell for as little as 2.5k and the lowest ph2 I recall was 8k. This is going back 6/7 years though.

The ph1 was a Mars red cat-c with horrid aftermarket cream leather interior, but otherwise not a bad car. The ph2 was an Illiad cat-d with recaros, but very rough. Both cars are now in France. The Illiad is now LY.

Right place, right time, right at the bottom of the market. Just goes to show that all vees are worth saving though!

What have wee seen the cheapest Mk1/Mk2 go for then? Confirmed sale prices.

Probably yours!!

Mine was the cheapest back in 07 (21k miles) @ £15K.

It was a little more than that but a great car. I sold it for £12K a year or 2 later. Think it would be a bit more now lol

Blimey I didn't realise these hand-built supercars ever sunk below £10k for a decent one as I only started taking notice of used ones when I realised I needed one back in my life around 2011/12 which is when I joined this friendly club :) and at that time I think a ph2 was around £13k to £15k for something under 40,000 miles?

I too joined in July 2011, which I thought was good timing, but a bit amazed to hear that a Phase 2 with under £40K miles had dropped below £10K.

Well I was wondering, it took a while to sell though didn't it. If I hadn't bought it I'd probably never have gotten another. Kicking myself for not buying another mars ph1 at 8k :(
