engine is , erm . 1.1 i think . must be , i got overtaken by a scooter :? , not impressed.

Engine is actually the main reason im here. looking to replace it with a 1.8/2.0 lump at some point in the near future.

lol, you haven't seen the interior .

Hopefully , really like the look of the williams ones but its proving difficult tot find a complete kit at a reasonable price as they seem to be golddust .
and the steering wheel is fugly too , so thats gonna have to go asap

And i cant believe what a pig of a job it is to get the alternator out ffs

If it's a 1.1, then it's a Night & Day and it's the C-type engine.

Although the fact you say the alternator is hard to get out suggests it's not a C-type.

Dont know to be honest , its a K reg (if that helps)

i know i must come across really think lol , the car is at my bosses house some 15 miles away so i only got there on sundays to get some work done on it . will confirm whatever it is tomorrow for sure.

night and day ???

Hello, nice car. Keep the E-series engine, it run forever. It you F-Series it. you end up, buying someone's shite engine, that need's a re-build.

wouldnt mind rebuilding as it would be done anyway, top end as bare minimum .

if it doesnt go to plan(cant find a decent engine) it will be run untill it dies and on to the next one lol
