Car is a 1991 on a private plate, 2wd in sports blue. It's got ph3 sunroof mechanism and other bits and bobs. As I had another sports blue one so this got the good bits off the other one. Paint is shiny with only the rear bumper letting it down, as it is faded. The body is far from perfect as you would expect from a 19 year old car, but it hasnt got any major rust problems, just little car park dings on it, and a dent in the passenger rear qtr where someone decided to give it a boot. Flaking the paint on the top edge where the qtr meets the boot, as normal a job I was getting round to, but as usual just haven't had chance. (Just another reason why I want to sell it, just don't get chance to maintain it like I want to). The body work is standard apart from a copy Europacup front bumper, which is needed to keep the huge front mount intercooler. The bumper is in black, and as you can see from the pictures I've left it off for now as I was getting around to repairing it, but as usual not enough hours in the day. That was about a month and a half ago now..
Wheels wise it's wearing some multi spoke 17inch Fox Evo 3 in crystal finish some kerbing and definetly need cleaning, think there's 4 good tyres on them. It's got drilled and grooved discs on the front and a set of drilled rear discs to go on the back but once again havent had time to fit them. The car has standard ride height suspension I believe, was going to lower it a bit but suits the FMIC and bumper at this height to miss the speed bumps.
Engine wise, it's standard internally I believe as this is the second engine it has had due to the first siezing up, due to a faulty oil pump I think. Been in the car a few months now and seems ok, pulls like a train and spins in fourth gear in the wet, so must be fairly healthy. As I say it does 150 miles a week at least with no problems. Slight tapping noise, so might need the tappets setting, but hasn't bothered me, plus haven't had time to look. The fans are wired to a switch as the sender unit in the bottom of the radiator has packed up, and haven't had chance to sort a new one out. As you can see there's a FMIC fitted with silicone hoses, SFS water hoses, 357 injectors, txi throttle pot, Scorpion exhaust downpipe back with 4 inch outward rolled tailpipe, and centre box. The ecu has a Nick Hill chip in it. Slim line fans. Twin dump valves, polished eat shield, polished rocker cover, strut brace. Standard turbo, which is running about 1.3 bar. Also have a hybrid turbo which has play in the shaft, so needs a rebuild, this is also included in the sale of the car.
Interior wise, standard really bar a Richbrook gearknob, extra boost gauge, turbo timer. The drivers seat is showing signs of wear, and has the built in rocking feature (lol). The speedometer is showing 131k but means nothing due to the engine change. All the electric windows work.
Bad points -..
The central locking is a bit tempermental, sometimes the doors look locked but they're not, and sometimes they won't open. But other days they are ok. Was going to take the door cards off and give them a spray, but haven't had chance. Front pads could do with changing, passed the M.O.T but with an advisory. Very slight oil leak.
Taxed for 6 months, and 12 months M.O.T
Pricewise ?850 ono
