H reg 21 T quadra

A

Alpine

Our old friend is up for sale. Currently with no MOT but I may well do it if I get the time. Been laid up and needs some work to get it back to a1 but will supply most of the bits to get somewhere near with it. Anyway, if interested, drop me a PM or email.

Cheers

Pics as promised. Taken 18 months ago or so. Only done around 2k since then.

What are you trying to fetch for her?any mods, or standard? (other than red silicone hoses)

It's pretty much as standard. It does have the hydralic clutch mech though, a dump valve and has had the gearbox and rear diff refurbed by a previous owner. Looking for sensible offers on it. It does come with a few bits including new spares to sort out the few issues with it.

What would you take for cash?

Also.....

Any service history, when was the last service carried out and how many prev' owners?

does it have abs ? also interested in a ball park figure .
whats wrong with it ?

i know from 19 s when you have abs ,you have problems .
people actually call them "widow makers"
are they as problematic on the 21t ?

From my experiance Shacks ... the ABS on the early ph1 1916v's was a pretty crap and unreliable system .... however the ABS on the 21t's is pretty dependable, certainly not like the 1916v's .... due to the age of the 21t's now you may find the ABS rings with corrosion on them but usually a going over with a wire brush cures this .. if not then you can still buy the rings from Renault and swap them over as i have just done ... buy usually a clean sorts them out.
Iv not heard much problems in the way of senors or the ABS units going wrong ....

In all its a pretty decent system ;)

Was hoping for ?500 but open to offers. There is a folder with service history. It's had new leads and an oil change since I've had the car and I've only covered less than a couple of k in it.

Hi Mate, will put a list together just now and post it on here...

And to add a little fun fact. The 21's ABS system is a lot smoother than modern systems due to the fine teethed ABS rings, on a 21 when ABS kicks in it's like the pedal is gently pushed back instead of vibrating harshly..

very simple: YES

Got rid off the ABS and go for a big brake conversion. More fun 2.

thought that would be the case , i personally hate any shape or
form of abs :icon_confused:

Ninety six teeth on the front, to be deliciously anorakish....:icon_lol:

Schkackalakckal- ABS- lifesaver mate. Don't knock it, especially in heavier cars.
