Gordini Turbo engine rebuild

Member
Does anyone have a recommended company/person for an engine rebuild. I want a as "new" stock engine to go back into the restored car (when it is ready!) and I have had one quote which was a little eye watering!

I could do with a few options! I will get the carb, turbo and gearbox done separately so it's is really just the block.

Thanks for any leads!

If you've got the time
Build it your self .....most peeps here do......
Where are you in the country....?

I use a guy in west london for remanufacture of engine parts .... Another for turbos and web con in Sunbury for carb gaskets/parts...

what state is the current engine in and do you plan to have any light modifications done to it?
just asking as I may know a very reasonably priced Brummie....

It ran when I drove it into the Bodyshop and ran last week. No smoke and about 90k on it.

I am keeping it completely stock as the rest of the car is.
