The Inlet manifold was fabricated by the previous owner so clears the column and bulkhead. I'm not sure if the cast manifolds fitted to many LHD Gordinis (ie 5Alpines!) in europe will fit RHD 5s but from photos I've seen (such as the one below) I think they will:
I tell you what MK1 5s really are the nuts aren't they.I should have wheels on my one this weekend. My TS racer has a modified K&N Camembert style airfilter and hope to fit a straight through motorbike exhaust.

I think the problem will be the brake servo and master cyl. However if the servo mounting bracket is rotated by 180 degrees this drops the maser cyl down. This may solve that issue.
Is this relevent? Someone with better French than mine needed to translate , Mr Cliche?
I did order a green cotton one, but have cancelled it (was told it would take several weeks).
Have now ordered a K&N bolt on that is meant for an Alfa 33 (Weber 32 DIR), which should hopefully fit.
Ive bought a K&N kit for weber 32 dir and it fits the housing but there is no obvious way to attach it. It just sits there loosely, ideally needs some kind of collar/gasket to go in between.
