Going Racing 2015

Interesting day at Cadwell. Car still cutting out on idle but have got it logged so hopefully find some answers.
Missed scrutineering due to main fuel pump fitting leaking, got it fixed just before qualifying, so got scruttineered on our way out. All very rushed but we passed and got on track to qualify 6th with 1.48.
Race 1, car would start so bumped her into life.
Got to 4th on the first lap and spent the entire race fending off a determined 205.
Finished 4th with a best time of 1.46.
Softened the front dampers to try and get suspension working.
Race 2. Pushed her again to get started. New starter needed I hope !!
Second place car missing due to an injury so big gap in front of me on the grid and sitting next to a Clio 197.
He got a better start as got to much wheelspin, qot him down the back straight and on the back of the leader.
Car was awesome but couldn't pass as Cadwell is so narrow. we certainly had the pace in the corners.
Finished 2nd with a best time 1.44.
Nice to see Andy and Ross there.
Silverstone 15th August next play day

You destroyed the 197 on the straights - absolutley decimated him.

That pug was rather quick , but again , you had the legs where it mattered.

Thats quick for a Paxo, whats under the hood?

Edit: Looking at the log your Idle value is all zero, which suggests no idle control valve.

You can see how stable the 197 is in the corners. Good track/wheelbase ratio helps there.

Cadwell looks like an EPIC circuit, but you say, a tad too narrow to get past on driver talent alone.

Really depends on the tyres. Had similar conditions a couple of years ago but was on Michelin wets and car was superb.
We run the car quite soft at the back, so quite predictable........thankfully :)
The AO21's were awfull, no grip on the front what so ever. Understeer so nothing we could do.
We dropped the pressres from 24psi to 16psi to try and get some heat in, which didn't work.
I was told I went the wrong way and should have put 35 psi in !!

Sorry to be missing this, but it looks like you've got perfect conditions over here on the East Coast.

Hope it all goes well.
