Last weekend saw us at Mallory Park with the frenchies in the Track Attack Race Club.
Spent most of Saturday getting the car to run properly, turned out to be fuel filter issue. also had to change the broken rocker assembly which caused the bent pushrod at Snetterton
Car all loaded up ready for the 6am start Sunday morning. A nightmare journey with parts of M1 closed see us arrive just before they closed the gates at 9-30am.
Went out for qually and onto track to find we had no boost, a lap of Mallory and back into pits for the boys to take a look. Boost hose came off the inlet, some idiot forgot to do up the jubilee

straight out getting on the pace 3rd quickest for most of qually until we was pippped at the end but very happy with 4th from 30 cars Best lap 54.8
Race 1, French cars only
Sat in assembly area, all raring to go and the heavens opened. "This is going to be interesting" I thought everyone on dry set ups/tyres.
Starting 3rd on the grid in very tricky conditions, couldn't believe how much grip we had and quickly got onto the tail of the leader. We couldn't find a way through but very happy to settle for a 2nd place. Best lap 1.01.7
Race 2 , combined grid Nippon
Starting 4th, we got a brilliant start and went into Gerrards side by side with the 205, kept going all the round to lead the race very briefly when he outbraked me into the haiirpin. Lost a few more places, struggling for grip with tyres going off in a 20 minute race, finished 5th overall but 3rd in the frenchies . Best lap 53.3.
That's it for this year, very happy with the end of the season performances and some good results.
To solve the pushrod issue has cost us 30bhp so lots of potential still to come with brake upgrade and other goodies for 2017
