Can we have switchable maps with Adaptronic on a switch? so if conditions change once we are in the car, we can change the setting.
Yes, you have fuel and ignition 1 and 2. You can use a digital input and set it as "Alternate map select". Set it as Active Low (default) then when you close the switch the ECU will switch to map 2. When its active the F11 window digital inputs>"AMAP" will go green. You can also copy map 1 to map 2 to save you doing a full remap for map 2, then just start dialling it back.
You can only use fuel 1 with ign1 and fuel 2 with ign 2, you cant use fuel 1 with ign 2 or vice versa (obvious why if you think about it)
Also if you set a digital input as "boost 1", active high, and then set the DC1 in the wastegate screen as the low boost duty cycle, when the switch is off you get the DC1 duty cycle, and when the switch is on, you get the duty cycle commanded in the main duty cycle table against RPM... So thats a second switch that can give you low and high boost. If you reverse the input to active low itll flip it about so you can have switch on = high boost or switch off = high boost, whichever you prefer. Combine that with switchable maps and you have quite a variation of power and how its delivered.
Also, apparently (I havent upgraded yet) the new v15.x firmware has better resolution on boost-by-gear so that might help for traction too. I didnt even know WARI v15 was out until scoff mentioned it last week!
