Hi all ,what is the best electric fuel pump to put under the bonnet of a 1983 gordini turbo , the line to the tank is clear ( blown though with airline ) the tank was refurbished a few years ago ,the mechanical one was by passed but the electric pumps I’ve used just aren’t up to it ,any suggestions,many thanks John

There is a flow and return line on a GD turbo. Flow line is a larger diameter.
The return line doesn't go to the bottom of the fuel tank so will not pick up fuel.
I can't remember if there is a filter mesh on the bottom of the pipe inside the tank or not.
The standard pumps are normally ok, sometimes the valves in them start to stick because the return springs have gone soft.
