Just bought my FCS ticket now. tried booking into Holiday Inn, Corby where I stayed last year but no rooms avaliable!

I'm staying at Peterborough Alvaston Travel-lodge - because it's cheap and smack on the A1 - so easy to find heh, and the route to Brunters takes you in the back way and misses the queue

What's parking like there Dan? Is it safe?

Alwalton not Alvaston sorry - well it's open, but it's not near any built up houses or anything - I parked there the Vee there last year without a problem and I beleive Peter255 stayed there as well. And the area around (we messed up and drove round some suburbs hehe) was quite swanky.

I've gone for Marriott Peterborough for £69. room only. free parking, and can cancel for free upto day of arrival in case of emergency, it's right next to Alwalton.

Same deal from Travelodge - for £50, room only (with loads of tea and coffee hehe) - but obviously it's a magnitude more pikey than the Marriot hehe Still, It's only one night and it was OK last year.
