Ford that does 249mph?!?!?

If not 249mph, could be fair close to it, these cars had near enough the 600hp mark and weighed next to nothing

no way.

1.8lt +garrettT3 = 450ps
vmax is 120 mph (no more than 130 no less than 110 depending on gearbox setup)

this car's great but 250? no way, no rally car was ever made to pump such top speeds, there's no reason to do that.

Top speed of the RS 200 Evo in Group B Rally Trim is 118 mph - Max Power 650bhp - 0-60mph = 2.1 seconds

Notice the 0-60mph time? very fast indeed, thats a Rally Car for you, the gearbox is geared for Acceleration, not top end speed, you will never hit top end on a rally stage but you are up and down the gearbox constantly around the twisty bits and need power on the exits to get good times.

not got a patch on the fiat cinquocento

Nup, I had mine off the end of the speedo, and that was the 0.9 and not the 1.1 (oooh, 41hp lol) so it'll do over a ton- tell you what, that was to be filed under "scary".

But then again my 1.6 Bluebird easily hit 130 and still had more to go.

(I think by gearing my truck here will do about 250mph at 5500rpm, but with aerodynamics like a house, it has a hard time hitting 100, and it's limited to 115, so you know it's going to try take off)

Dunno what the GTA is going to be able to do, probably top end will hit out due to gearing.
