5 GT Turbo F4Rt - hopefully the correct decision

Good Luck getting the RX7 rebuilt, my 5 and your F4R is getting there although out the country till end of November so mapping and exploding gearboxes will have to wait till December.....:) She is however at my mates getting all the sensors, wiring sorted out. Slowly ordering all the O2M parts for the next phase!

Thanks Mark, Cant wait to get home and down to Chris at EFI. Although kinda dreading the whole O2M saga sounds a bit of a bugger to do. Il just update this thread with the progress.

Why are we only just seeing this now we need a build thread and pic heavy and plenty of reading and updates 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Think its only right to keep it on Marks thread as he did all the hard work, although something tells me its going to be a never ending love hate relationship with this 5. I really rushed putting the engine into the car as i knew i was out of the country for 3 months with work but was desperate to get it running before i left. I fucked off the gardening and spending time with the Mrs to travel round the country for the engine then to fit it, she wasnt impressed:)

Actually the engine install went really well, it only required 1000+ messages to Mark and it was done loll, the only fuck i made was i plumbed the fuel system the wrong way to the regulator so no pressure, this stumped me for bloody ages but found it in the end. I did take it for a quick run before i left but Mark scared the shit out of me saying id better not blow it up.

Il post some pics but will get stuck into the build when i get home, O2M box and parts collection coming along nicely but i want to get it down to EFI and see how she does.

BTW what oil coolers are the F4R turbo boys using?

Thats the dash out to sort all the wiring out properly, lots and lots of botch jobs to fix. Setting up all the AFR, oil pressure, temp, wheel speed sensors. I want the interior to look as original as possible so trying to come up with a solution of where to put the digi dash as i need it to show me all the figures.

Engine back out next week:)
