No The ledge on the bottom section is much thinner than those sidewalls. It's deceptive looking at that picture. The ledge on the bottom starts thin at the edges and gets wider towards the middle where you cut the V out. My ledge along the bottom when I had finished was about 15mm all the way along I think. I'll post a picture tomorrow of the removed section.
 
Tim, Scott and I drank a lot of tea after you left and we both decided that your Janspeed decat sounded plenty fruity enough for us!

Scott is going to run the Hog over the WRC rolling road after he has fitted the Janspeed system.
I will have to get around to posting the photos of the red glow when it was fitted to the new engine on the dyno at Simon's place.

hog - what have you had done for your 272bhp? And how much is that Janspeed? Any audio clips?!

Janspeed system was my choice for following reasons:
Well known & respected manufacturer in UK tuning circles, that has been proved to support his products.
System meets drive by noise regs for track days.
Supplier & Installer was prepared to allow me to fit it and measure the performance differences achieved [either pos or neg] on both the dyno and rolling road.
Can run the car with standard ECU - no need to remove lambda sensors,etc.
Weight.
Cost.

I bought my system through Scott at renaultcliov6.com but other clio tuners are flogging the same piece of kit, so if you want one then just ring around.
Remember that fitting is extra & not all of them are V6 enthusiasts!
 
Tim posted a video of his on the dutch site - renaultcliosportV6 but it sounds even better in reality.
