Exhausts...

Does anyone have a link to the Orbisoud website or info for prices etc to buy? Think they will be too expensive anyway but just want to have a look.

Have a Mk2 and only just found out that the Janspeed backbox doesn't fit so have to get the full system at about £1200, so thinking if going to spend this much money then maybe worth looking at some other options as well.

Know about Quicksilver but think it might be too loud in the cabin for longer journeys.

Thanks

Janspeed does fit a Mk2 except for 2 bolt holes which can be welded I think - Bill Patchall (his member id) had one fitted I think

I have a Janspeed on a Mk1 and well impressed around town, longer journeys its got a nice sound not too loud but a great sound if you put your foot down

Cost me 275 if you call them directly

here is the new website from Orbisoud.

ORBISOUD NEW WEBSITE

i have the orbisoud exhaust now for 1,5 year and i love it. the sound is amazing !!! :D
combine this with the pipercross evo filter and you are a happy man 8)

For the money of an orbisoud I wouldnt buy one, they are good.....but not 2k good.

You can have some extreemly good systems made here in the UK to significantly better quality and design for the same price.

I completly agree!! I just can't see where 2 grand can possibly go on what is, a fairly small system. In all honesty, I can't see why QuickSilver's are so expensive either. I can get fully bespoke, tig welded, stainless steel, equal length manifolds for around 6/700 quid...and trust me, they would be better than anything I've seen readily available for the Vee to date. Can't see any silencer costing another 1300 on top unless it was made from titanium and if you can, you need your head testing lol

Well Scott swears by the Orbisoud not just for noise but performance etc. I just don't see the point on spending £600 on a quicksilver just for the back box and if gonna go full system for Janspeed is circa £1200 i think, so am just wondering if its worth going the extra and going for full Orbisoud system for £2k. I know its a lot of money but then its £800 more than Janspeed full system and might be worth the extra money..?

What other site would people recommend for a custome exhaust for simila money?

Whilst I cant agree with a whole system inc manifolds for 700 quid, I can agree that for the same money you spend on an orbisoud you will get a system that is (for ease of understanding) twice as good quality and design wise.

The V is a compact car, so actually fitting a good system in is hard, and its what your paying for.
