Exhaust manifold and friends

I have no idea mate, thats totaly not my section. I know that there are S/S valve's avaible and also Titanium's. The last ones are pretty expansive, about 200? / piece.

Jo - it is sodium mate, Natrium is the latin for Sodium.

The 12v is starting to sound expensive already ..

i'm sure it can be done less expansive then the way i did it. Depends on how much you want to invest.
Just for the bottomend, head, in and outlet i spend arround 5K, every single part in the whole engine is customised. To finish it i'm gonna need another 5K. When you see it, you dont wanna put it in the car but place it on the cofeetable :icon_lol:

And now the idea for a twinturbo is playing arround.

Holy Moly Jo ! thats a shedload of cash !

I will wait till the £ becomes victorious over the €

its pretty simple to calculate:

575 injectors: 380?
Fuelrail, custom: 250?
All hoses custom,air fuell,water and clamps: 750?
Turbo, compleet: 2000 ?
Custom downpipe/vbands: 300
MSD Ignition module and harnass: 500?
1 piece poulies + vernier poulie: 300?
Tripple plate Clutch and flywheel: 2000?

6480 ? , and another 500 for small parts

there you go...power costs money mate. When its on a cossie, evo, scooby or 21 year old shed, it costs money.

I keep telling Andy this - you cant tune a car on pocket money unfortunately - not unless you dont want it to last anyway!!! :icon_razz:

What I am trying to balance my foreign friends ( that includes Lee - Liverpool is foreign , they speak all strange and stuff ) is the balance between ib/ft and £

I have a family , a mortgage , and a very expensive wife.

I am trying to gain the most ib/ft per £

I am aware of huge power costs being a veteran of a UK Subaru , which I paid a small fortune on to get it PPP'd

same over here, the 2.2 engine is now for more then 3 years under construction. If i had a cash tree it would be done long time ago.

yeah i would like to get my 21 sorted out,she would like a new kitchen which is more important so the car will have to wait again...then a new bathroom etc etc :icon_sad:

Exactly the same for me I've spent circa 5k on the house in the last 12 months or so, There's nothing left for the Quaddie :icon_sad:, then I decided to sort out my home cinema stuff :icon_lol:

I've just started the Quaddie again as I'm out of work for a month but i've been really too busy sorting a new job.

Sorry for going really O/T :icon_lol:

Dave ur a legend.....no doubt i will be round when i have aquired the car and i would love to see your exhaust manifold setup etc.
Cheers

Beginning Saturday. Party at mine, all this lot are coming. Early evening, be prepared to be very drunk.

Just be careful what else he offers to show you. He tried some bizarre manovers when I popped round

You didnt say no though! :icon_eek: and when you say 'Manovers', is that what you mean or are you just incapable of spelling manoeuvres?

Tell me more. Stainless 12v inlet? Was just about to have some custom made. Can you get them?

Also are you SURE the exhaust are Sodium filled? Hmmmm....might chop one in half....:icon_biggrin: Although they are 1mm thinner stems to begin with which i'm not too happy about.
