5 GT Turbo EFI - GT Turbo

Can anyone tell me plug sequence ? @DaveL485 @Clarkey @Andyquadra

1-3-4-2 from flywheel, paired 1&4, 2&3

@DaveL485 and anybody else.

Although there are numerous guides can someone simply explain how to load base map on? Finding it not too intuitive at the moment?

Connect up the ECU so its talking to WARI. File>Open (select base map) then hit "Write All" button at the top.

Anyone know what fuel pressure needs to be at?

2.5bar with no vac pipe connected and pump running.

90% of the wiring sorted today. Still a fair amount to do and LOTS of tidying up to take care of but all in all I am just pleased it fired up.

Today my friend Mark wired in the loom and re-wired fuel pump wiring plus ignition wiring as they were shite to say the least. Now the fuel pump wiring is up to the job and no longer off a dodgy switch, all fused/relayed correctly. Much more satisfying to know its all safe and sound now.

Still to do;

1 - Plumb in and fix FPR in correct position
2 - Plumb in and fix ignition module correctly.
3 - Neatly sort all wiring to various sensors.
4 - Purchase reducer hose from carb elbow.
5 - Fix in inlet air temp.
6 - Plumb in idle control valve.
7 - Plumb in boost control solenoid.
8 - Fix ECU to glove box
9 - Fix header tank in place ( funnily enough super sticky pads didn't work, lol)
10 - Replace broken water hose.

That's about it I think, after that book in with Scoff for mapping.

A big thanks to @DaveL485 for helping over Facebook messenger, Wari is a mystery to me as it stands. Lots to learn.

Here is a video of its first start - it doesn't idle yet but I have various air leaks off inlet plus I need to sort idle control valve which hasn't been mapped in.

sorry Mark just seen this, been sorting my car this afternoon.
As you said, fuel in to rail, out to FPR and return to tank.
We run 3 bar fuel pressure.

Hows it going ?

Without hijacking the whole thread, can anyone confirm where the check valves (one-way valves) are or need to be in an EFI GT Turbo?

I know the following:
- Brake Servo
- Crankcase breather system (where the restricter is)

Anywhere else?

On my inlet they are as you've described above. Pretty much in the same place as OE inlet.

I plan to block of the crankcase breather hose as I did before and simply connect the brake servo up. With my previous brake servo we discovered that the pipe was way to big for the inlet pipe which wasn't great. I'm going to make sure I have the right diameter hoses this time.

If you look at the middle inlet you'll see where the 2 x standard breathers go. (either side)

Not sure what I am going to do with the spare middle port ? The bottom two are water which I won't use. You can't see on this picture but there are two vacuum inlets, one for FPR and one for boost. I've also had an 18mm inlet on the side below throttle body for idle control valve.

Not sure if any of that helps @Woznaldo ?
