5 GT Turbo EFI - GT Turbo

Inlet, throttle body, TPS and boost hose adaptor winging its way from Ireland thanks to Michael, should be here early next week. Michael added an 18mm inlet for idle control valve which was cool of him. I've already started stripping both inlet and exhaust manifold and will start getting all of the various EFI components fitted and wired up over the next couple of weeks. I am going to sell my tubular manifold and go back to the stock item above albeit with a modification. ;-)

For those that are interested I have spent around £1800 so far but I've not skimped with components. The final big chunk of change ill need to fork out on will be to Chris at EFI Parts for mapping but all in all I am pleased for having come in on budget. I appreciate there may be the odd additional extra here and there but i'm sure it will all be worth it in the long run.

I'll update this thread with pics as the conversion takes place.
 
Pretty sure you can plumb this in to the Adaptronic, which displays on the WARI gauges screen and datalogs too (though a gauge in your eye line wouldnt hurt)

Yeah ideally I need a gauge in view as it will be to monitor heat increase caused by switchable ALS. (if we get it working)

Yeah speaking with the guys at Adaptronics and Chris it can be done with the ECU. Chris did say when he tried ALS on C1J a few years back it instantly destroyed manifold gasket. ;-)

Will see what happens but i'd like to try, if nothing else for a bit of a laugh.

Stupid questions alert !
Where have you put your ignition coil module ? What have you done with dizzy etc ? Just left as is or blanked off in someway? I can't picture it in my head.
