Hey
Some of you may have seen my post in the Tuning forum discussing the availability of up-rated engine mounts for the V6.
http://www.v6clio.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... highlight=
The engine Mounts (3 in total) are for sure one of the weaker points of the drive train, the standard mounts feel extremely soft giving sluggish throttle response and increasing the chances of suddenly shocking the drive-train with a huge thump when you get onto the power suddenly.. Im sure lots of you have felt this!
The lower engine mount sometimes referred to as a pendulum mount, controls the swaying motion of the engine from the bottom of the motor to the rear subframe. When this is solid, it limits the movement, resulting in sharper throttle response, because there is effectively less 'slack' in the drivetrain, definitely worth doing!
Heres a comparison picture of the Standard and Custom Lower Mount
Anyways 'TRW1' has said that he will look into the possibility of a group buy for these parts, as they are custom made, having a multiple order for say 5+ should make it a lot more viable for the manufacturer to produce.
If your interested just let me know so that we can get an idea on numbers
Thanks
Jonny
