Custom alloy rocker covers for the 5 GT Turbo

Hi All,
Thanks to Dean Martin for asking about these and Andrew Bond for sending me here.
I make cast alloy rockers, mostly for Fords but I'm always looking for something new to make. I want to see if theres any interest in making one for the 5 GT Turbo engines.
Just from looking at the engine and existing cover I reckon they would be about £90-£100 and I can make them with custom lettering of your choice.
I'd need 10 definite buyers to go ahead with it as theres about 40-50 hours getting the pattern made and testing it before the first finished cover is made and it's not worth doing if I would only sell a couple.

Pressed steel, might as well buy OE from Renault. Doubt they would be ridiculous £.

I'd be interested, assuming the OE fittings are catered for and that it doesn't have a "Renault 5" specific text (I have a 9 Turbo). Something like "C1J" or "Renault" or "Renault Turbo" would be good and also would help add potential buyers. "Renault" would be best as then all C1J owners can buy one, be it 5, 9, 11 and Turbo or NA.

I can change the lettering on each cover, they don't have to all be the same, I get people asking for all sorts on them.
What fittings will they have to have on them?

Awesome, is that CNC machined on after casting then?

I think the fitting is a 10 or 12mm breather pipe push-on, though I wouldn't mind tapping a hole for a nice AN fitting some of the less mechanically minded buyers would probably want this catered for. And the oil filler cap obviously

The lettering is done when I make the mould so it's cast into them.

It looks like these will be going ahead so anyone wanting to put a deposit down, let me know your email and I'll send a paypal invoice for the deposit.
They will be able to have the breather and brackets fitted and I want them to use the original oil cap and gasket.
Just to be completely transparent with everyone, This started on a facebook page whose name I won't mention and Andy Bond invited me over here, I'm getting deposits from there too. Like I said in the post that was on there, I'm not getting involved in politics, just making rocker covers.
The covers will cost £90 to anyone putting down a deposit so I'll take a £40 deposit and the balance to be paid when I have them ready, anyone putting a deposit will get free postage on them.
The price to anyone else will be £100+£15 post. It's cheaper for the ones who get in at the start because it wouldn't be happening if they didn't get in.

Hi @Redmond Metalcasting very nice work you do! i'll put my name down for one, just wondering what sort of lead time you'd expect on these as I'm guessing you'll be making a couple of testers to be trialed under boost to check for compatibility with the oe rubber seal and fixings etc? Apologies for being inquisitive, I am in no doubt that you know exactly what you're doing!!

fatroofer, I'll make sure they're right before any go out.
I've said 6-8 weeks before the first one is finished but that's to cover my arse in case anything goes wrong, they should be done in a month. If you want to put a deposit down message me your email and I'll send on a paypal invoice for the deposit.
