Clio sunroof install

I have access to an old tilt sun roof from a 93 5 door clio if I want it, it's only a tilt not slide, now I do quite fancy a sun roof in mine but dont want to Fuck up the car in any way, is this a straight forward enough job or are there any major risks, is it only the skin I would be cutting through? As this essentially would be an after market add on is there major risks of rusting and/or leaking? Would this all just be a bad idea ?

do NOT do it.

You may think you want it, but you really don't. Trust me.

A sunroof is probably the most useless annoying thing ever.

im a mega fan of them oddly enough, i know there are various security issues that can be opened up and what not but asides that is there any major drawback? If the job is done correctly I imagine there wouldnt be a leak issue but would it cause rusting or anything? it is mainly a matter of just cutting the skin and installing along with the new headliner or is there more to it than that?

cutting the roof, it will rust, it will leak, it will be noisy, it will let light in all the time (clios don't have a sun shade), affects headroom

basically its one of the best ways to ruin a car.

I wish my chamade never had one, never used apart from when I'm bored and want something to play with, 19's are bad as the headroom is greatly reduced with the leccy ones.

the rust issue is the only thing im extremely worried about, oddly ive always loved having a sunroof, missed having one since i had the lag then when i had the one in the black valver i was delighted again, thankfully i'm about 3 foot tall so i dont get effected by the headroom issue, i did notice the sunshade issue alright, that is a wee bit of a problem

damn nobody seems to think this is a great idea but i a, incredibly eager to have one, is there any structural reinforcement in the sunroof models?

I wish somebody had something redeeming to say about this, I really want to be convinced to do it but somehow I dont think I will be

thats exactly it jr, as i wont be getting insured on the cab for another long while i need something to remind me of the glory days, if the job can be done right with no risk to the car itself then ill go ahead and do it

i fail to see how a bit of glass tilted at a 10 degree angle in any way can remind anyone of a cabby

For Feck sake NO. If the Clio a RL. get some Back opening windows. Hinge area only held on by rivet's.

not too pushed about opening back windows tbh i just want a sunroof again is all, i miss the glory days of moving a sheet of glass 3 or 4 centimetres up, folk really hate this idea but im kinda sold on it, have all the relevant bits from a donor

Now how about a cabby Clio that'd be a new one! Like the 5 or the pug cti
