Quite understandable Danny.. I've just not been able to dedicate enough time to this meet as it requires, so have passed it onto other members of the team.

I'm sure they'll be along soon to keep you all updated, and do a far better job of sorting it out than I was doing. There's just not enough hours in the day!

I'd appreciate an update from you Shaun or one of the events team. Its been many weeks since your response and still nothing concrete at all. Its still months away, but we all need to plan our weekends in advance.

At the moment Peter the Southern event is over subscribed, the Northern event.. under subscribed. The guys are also busy with work commitments as well as trying to sort this out. Although it doesn't look like it on the thread here, but there have been emails bouncing back and forth with the Car Fest organisers to try and make this as fair as possible for those, like yourself, that are keen to attend and confirm placings. We also need to confirm who is available for the Friday, as many people have just said 'both days'. This is a 3 day event, not just Saturday and Sunday.

Again, thank you.. and everyone else, for your patience. A new event for us, with new challenges to resolve.

Danny and Phil will be updating you all imminently.

Hi All. Myself and Phil will be posting some updates to this thread regarding Car Fest 2013. We have been in contact with the organisers and busy working out costs, logistics etc. As Shaun mentioned previously, we are over subscribed for the South event and under subscribed for the North.

Very shortly we'll be posting a FAQ on this thread which will hopefully answer some of your questions.

I'd swap to the North. I've just booked a trackday at Spa on the 2nd, will be at the ring on the 3rd and will get the overnight ferry back on Sat night just in time for Carfest!

I have updated the first post in the thread with a short FAQ. More will be added to this soon.

Tracking the attending members for both the North and South event was a challenge in itself.

You will also notice that on the leading post, the traditional list of attendees has been replaced with grid table for each event and each day.

Can I ask you all to review this and check that I've got it right regarding your requested days. There have been some requests for 1 or 2 days but remain unconfirmed.

If something is incorrect - please let me know and I'll update the list. Note that if you have said "I can do any day..." then you have been put down for ALL THREE days until you can confirm exactly which day.

I'm expecting over the next week or two the lists will shift around and those that are currently on the reserve list, you may well find yourself in the top 7.

We're all very accommodating, so if you see something within the lists that could change/move to give everyone the best chance of attending, again - let me know!
