i`m looking at replacing my standard brakelines with the goodridge stainless steel braided ones so i hopefully get rid of that soft feel on the pedal once the fluid heats up, i`m gonna flush the system with new fluid aswell so what fluid would be best to replace with? standard renault dot 4 or something else????????

standard dot 4 should be fine. I have had goodridge hoses fitted to mine and they are great with standrad dot 4. Best to talk to scott as sg motorports he did mine for me.

The brakes on my vee are excellent as-is. Don't get me wrong I've had steel braided lines fitted to a few of my cars in the past, but unless you're running more than standard power, I don't see the point in upgrading the brakes as they are pretty awesome in standard guise!

I find there is no feel in the pedal, that was my main reason for haveing the braided hoses fitted.

I would describe the standard V6 brakes as, 'pretty awesomely awful' but I suppose if you don't drive on the brakes you may live to tell the tale - just!
Scott upgraded my brake hoses, calipers and discs. Now I have pedal feel and confidence in the stopping power and brake control.
Then again, I do left foot drive on the brakes - and have a very heavy right foot.

Just in case anyone is interested, i`ve had the lines fitted and new dot 4 fluid, can`t believe the difference they have made.......i now feel like i`m in proper control of the pads, feels solid :D no spongey pedal, trouble is keep last second braking now, loving it.

Depends where you live JJ?
Goodrich at Silverstone Business Park keep them in stock, Scott at renaultcliov6.com and maybe Yozzasport.

hog - in the South, but Silverstone isn't too far away. Scott's in Harlow isn't he?

How much do these kits cost fitted?

they are £56 +vat. I got mine from Demon Tweeks only because they have a £10 off all goodridge lines on a christmas offer, they cost me £75 fitted with fresh renault dot4. Otherwise i would have gone to scott at sg motorsport. He seems very helpfull and knows what he`s talking about...
