had my abs light pop on over the weekend went inot the garage today to find out its the ABS pump, phone SJ Cook Renualt to see how much a new one was and i nearly died £1100 + Vat, anyone know where i could find a cheap one or a second handone tried ebay no joy
That makes it Bosch. Is the modulator unit dead or just the ECU board on top? The usual failure of the Bosch system is the ECU as its under the coolant header tank and gets doused with coolant by careless owners topping up.
Same system is used in same era Vauxhalls (mk3 Astras, Calibras etc.) I used the ECU off a unit I pulled out of a Vauxhall calibra turbo to fix mine.
If you're sure it's the modulator unit, I still have the one (minus the ECU) from the Calibra.
