Wanted 87’ Renault 5 GT Turbo subframe.

Just joined as I’m trying to locate a subframe for the little 5 I just bought from salvage auctions here in Australia, is a lhd personal import from japan, we never got them here so no way of finding one locally, be handy to know if it is the same part as a base model or if it’s unique to the gt, I can organise pick up and shipping from that end, ideally in the next few weeks as my wife is in Ireland visiting family, or my sister in law in reading could help out as well, appreciate any help or feedback.

Pretty sure the subframes are shared with the non-Turbo models.

Pretty much the same on all models from that era if you have any 11’s, Extra’s, etc locally?

I’ve a straight original one in my garden I was looking to use for a rebuild that never happened. Shipping will be a right arseache though I’m guessing

Thanks Steve, yeah I’ve heard they the same as 9’s n 11’s, we never got those either, yeah shipping will be pricey, if I could figure the weight and cubic dimensions packaged might give a better idea, still waiting to hear from the fella in newry, Ireland, who says he has one.

Lower spec super5 subframe is the same, just bolt a couple of the gtt bits on and your away.
