Good man should be an epic trip. We are going either Dover - Dunkirk ferry or Tunnel. Not looked at prices for Newcastle or Hull recently but usually a fair bit more expensive even factoring the fuel in to Dover.
I am not mad keen on the 32432432432 miles to Dover TBH ! Right ballache!

Surely you should be driving your car there @Brucieboy? IIRC the Ring should be deemed as a normal road so the car needs to be insured etc as if you were driving it on the road?? Not sure if you can just rock up there with a dedicated track car and roll it off the trailer?? :bw:

As an alternative, more so for the Northerners I guess, a few of us are booked on the Friday night DFDS Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry instead - Works out just shy of £240 return (Monday night crossing) using the TNEJEA promo code & booking via Quidco.
Given ET crossings are currently £125 return, and it's an easy 2 tanks of fuel from here to Ashford & back, it's about much of a muchness paying for the ferry, but saves the additional ~800 miles drive & mega early start on Saturday.
