21TOC 'Best Car' Photo Competition

I'm posting this up to gather some photos for our new look front page!

As a bit of light fun, and a mechanism to get some of the better photos out, i thought a friendly competition would be a good idea to do this. There are four categories;

Category 1 - Best Minter (Completely Standard, Concourse)
Category 2 - Best Modified (External Body)
Category 3 - Best Modified (Mechanical)
Category 4 - Best Proven Power
Category 5 - Best Club Car (Voted by the Membership)

When you post the Photos Here, please show which category youre entering it for. Once the photos are in, i'll create a series of threads for each category, so that we can vote etc. Chairmans decision is final, based on votes etc.

Closing date for photo Entries is 1st May 2012.

can-O-worms! UK normally quote fly wheel figures where as Euro's quote @the wheel's
We could say 2wd's loose 25-30hp and Quadra's loose 50-55hp?

Category 3 - Best Modified (Mechanical)
any rules? does it have to be a 21, 8V or 12V, supercharger or turbo. You could say it has to be a 21 turbo with a 8V engine, but anything else goes? However that would limit a few people.

Nope, no rules. As long as it uses one or more main component of a Renault 21. Doesnt even need to be a turbo. Best mechanical modifications in terms of enginuity, concept, installation, originality etc.

I don;t know which category to drop mine in, so I'm going to bite the bullet and say, category 1, 3, 4 & 5. :black_eyed: If i entered 2 then it would purely be on the fact that i have a modified front splitter (smoothed).

BTW - My power figures are at the wheels and dyno was approx 3 weeks ago......

Can of worms! Engines figures from rollers depends on alot, transmission percentages can be adjusted not to mention even if they're not different wheels and tyres can change it. If its dyno'd then more accurate but not many will be so 20/22% loss 2wd and 35/40% for 4wd
