if anyone is interested in this car just to let you know this is the same person i bought mine off...i`m not complaining about my car its mint (I LOVE IT!)but he did tell me a couple of porkeys.


He said that he was a pro golfer and was moving to spain so he was selling his collection of cars - he looks like a trader to me... :-)

He also couldnt give me the green slip from the logbook.

Also he said he had it for 3 years but i found out it was bought from manchester needing a new clutch and a few bits and bobs.

Just to let you guys know have a good look around it before you bid.

Yuup!!! it does look like its on lovely condition tho... - i`m quite shocked at how much its fetching - i`m quite happy to see that mine is worth what i paid for it!!
 
..not as shocked as I am seeing as I am currently the highest bidder. I was willing to pay top dollar for the best car I could find. Now I am a little concerned that the car may not be all its cracked up to be. Does anyone on here know this car or is near enough to check it over before 19.47 Tuesday:icon_redface:
 
I wouldnt panic too much. If the car is a dog , and not as descibed , Ebay permits you to reject teh car as it is " significantly different from its description."

No mate, know nothing of it. Ad reads like a trader though, especially as the car is not standard.
If the car is straight enough, it's worth it.

If you really wanna check it over come get me, we'll go and i'll check it over for you, cost you a case of beer for me and some wine for the Mrs :icon_lol::icon_lol:

I'm pretty good at these (pain in the ass) cars, most on here should verify my 'qualifications' lol
 
The guy used lots off WD40 to get the enginebay blingbling as that. Turrets are way to shiny, maybe overlighten camera, dont know
 
lovely looking car and its only 20 miles from me for a change :icon_razz:

Yoo... good luck with the car.. i hope it is a good as it looks in the pictures!! i thought i`d let the forum know about this guy. i paid top money for mine but if you pay top money you will get exactly what you want.

I would get someone in the area to go - might cost you 20-30 ? for a drink for the guy who looks at it.

Is this your 1st 21 Turbo?

No mate - will be my 3rd one. First couple were back in the early 90's when they were nearlt new, had another 2 years ago but beyond saving thanks to rust on the front suspension. Got a Megane R26R at the mo, just fancied another 21 before all the good uns go. Taking a real flyer so I think I will take up one of the guys offer to ccheck it over first. Sounds like the clutch and the heater are on their way out but I work at a BMW dealership so should be able to get a techhy to sort bits out.

Thanks Craig - Will do - Happy to sort you out if you can have a quick look. Maybe wait until bidding is over on tuesday night. If I win it then I would like you to pop over. Be nice to get back in to the 21 Turbo crowd - been through 12 Renault sports since. Might lend you my R26R if it all works out. Nothing to fix on this one though!:icon_biggrin:
 
hi im new to the r21 long loved it but i just purchased this 21 turbo quadra off ebay dark burgundy u mite remember it went for 500 not as rough as i thought everythin worked bar sunroof and passenger window i know it had a tap when i bought it as i expected it was light so i need a headlight guys and a few other bits if you can point me in the direction of parts i would be very greatful thanx and maybe some tuning mods
