1st coil! And few other bits of advice.

Well I got home from work and set about doing the coil.
I didn't have a 8mm socket for a 3/8 drive ratchet. But I did for my 1/4 drive so I just used that. Read the guide, and I jumped straight to the coil suggested above, behind drivers seat and bingo that was the one. Took about 20mins all in all, been out for a little run too. What an easy job! If anything is to go wrong with the car I hope it's just them!

The only thing, it mentioned torque settings, obvious I haven't been able to set it to the required tourqe? How vital is it on these?

I'm going to make myself a little kit up, consisting of coils, ratchet, socket, extension and a pair of disposable gloves. Oh and a little screw driver to easy the clip off.

Very pleased it's back to it's norml self.

My current record is 6 minutes from stopping, covers off, find coil and swap new one in, covers on!

All done in Newcastle in a retail park carpark lol
