19 16v ph2 loom swap question

I am just about to swap my 19 16v ph2 loom over with a good ph1 loom I bought from Neal a while back.

My question is on my ph2 I have the black box on the right hand side of engine bay containing relay's, connectors and fuses.

My ph2 loom has the connectors for the relays and 4 fuses but the ph1 only has the plugs for the relays and no fuses. When I swap the loom over is my car going to run?

I think it will but the ph1 has an older design without fuses. Hopefully someone can help me out. I dread swapping it over and then it doesn't start for some reason.

All swapped over yesterday with no problem, loom works perfect. Thanks Neal

Just out of interest, how long did it take you? Was it difficult? I am thinking about doing the same next year.

It took me around 2 hours to complete the whole job. I took my radiator out,
air intake pipes off and rear heat shields from the bulkhead and starter motor.

there is nothing at all difficult and everything is straight forward.

the hardest part was undoing the 2 10mm retaining nuts on the wiring to the lambda plug and putting the spade connector on to the oil pressure sensor. I didn't use a ramp just a trolley jack.
