Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry?

Any decent prices Mart? Every time ive looked at the newcastle and hull ferry's the price is always £250++ got to be due to overnight cabin etc.

Its always works out cheaper to drive down to dover although less convenient ill admit.

We're taking the Newc'-Ams' ferry out there (£144), which saves making the Wednesday evening long drive after work to my folks'. A cheapy ~£30 ferry back (Calais/Dunkerque-Dover) on the Sunday afternoon, with a (hopefully) quieter drive back up here afterwards, and job's a good'un.

Adding fuel into the equation, it works out slightly cheaper for us travelling that way, plus, as I say, it eliminates one of the long drives this side of the water/the early start Thursday morning.

I have requested the Sunday off 1 of my jobs... If it's granted I would be going out Friday afternoon, hammering it to the ring intime for dinner, spend Saturday there and come home Sunday...

Yes. The F1 Circuit is open on Wednesday evenings too.

As far as I can see, the Nordschliefe is open as follows:

• Thu 16th Oct -> 170 - 19:00
• Fri 17th Oct -> 170 - 19:00
• Sat 18th Oct -> 08:00 - 19:00
• Sun 19th Oct -> Closed

Thursday & Friday were both full touristenfahrten days when this was originally planned, but given the 'Ring schedule is always changing, even on the day itself, I'm not surprised that those 2 days now only have ~2hrs run time (in the evening). C'est la vie.

By the time we all get out there, checked in, etc on the Thursday, it probably won't be far off the 5pm opening anyway.

Friday is a free day to do whatever/go wherever/recover from the night before then a full touristenfahrten day on Saturday.
