Things could get interesting for me...
Noticed the clio's reverse lights dont work, checked bulbs and connections all ok, tested the reverse switch... thats the failure, new part coming Thursday...
No major issue, quick to change, however more worringly I noticed a small amount of coolant on the drive, having no time to look into it and fix it before the weekend, I have left the car at my mechanics house and he is hoping to be able to look into it... fingers crossed.... if not the Clio wont be coming, and with the saga with my mini, thats not going to be ready... leaving me the Enterprise BMW... but oh wait I cant take that abroad...
Will be calling mini today to sort out a plan B...

But got to have a plan View just incase... I have been working all day and evenings this week, I thought the Clio was ready (even packed the boot ready to go Saturday morning.. hopefully it still will be

Got a call, Clio is done, reverse switch placed, found a ever so slightly loose water hose that needed clamping, whilst it was their has new wipers fitted around.
Happy days. Collected my euros for the weekend. Can't bloody wait.

Had a call from Mini, I can also take the BMW car abroad... now its a tough choice, Clio or BMW.. am i that bothered about doing a lap or 2? Could have super comfort, ubber reliable and still fun to drive on the scenic route... or a rattly old clio
