XR25 questions

I've made two of the diy xr25->usb adapters, but I can't get them to work.

Has anyone else tested it with a mk1 ph1 1.8 laguna (1994)? Infact does the ph1 laguna work with xr25 bus or some other bus? The connector is xr25 but there are those XR25-OBDII Adapters, are they meant for laguna?

Currently I've got only a e6j carburetor r19 so i guess the xr25 wont work with it either?

Are you using the xr25pc software? Are you using an ftdi based usb adapter? Does the LED light when connected to the car?

yes ftdi adapter, xr25pc and I think the led did light up. I just can't confirm this because the laguna was my friends fathers who lives quite far away. ofc. it could be the lagunas diagnostic port was faulty
