Last Minute details:

Make sure you car is displaying your label well before you get to Silverstone or you will be directed into public car parks. Arrive early as there are often big traffic lines to get in, collectors area will open around 8am. Often arriving from the Buckingham direction passing Stowe school is a much faster option but watch out for one way systems that may be put in place on the day.
the entrance you need will be the main entrance in Dadford road, not any of the public entrances off the A43 or the entrances at Stowe corner. Follow signs for Paddock entrance and there will also be signs showing "classic cars" or "Collectors" and these will be the same colour as the sticker you have received.
You will also need to show your tickets so have these ready too and ensure you keep them for Sunday as well.
Once at the collectors area, please park where you are instructed to park. Parking will be organised by model (apart from race cars which may be together in a dedicated area).
Once parked up, go over to the RAOC tent to register and recieve your goodie bag and race plate.

oh, one more thing, have a great weekend, dont forget there is some great international racing going on, whats more the new Silverstone race track layout will be running much nearer the collectors area than in the past so maybe think about earplugs/ defenders these things are loud! Give some support to John Lancaster, currently doing well in the World Series 3.5 championship.

I'll be travelling down early Sat morning now from the North West - Anyone else planning on coming down that way to convoy?

Mark,

Once in the collectors area, can cars be left there Sat night into Sunday morning?

Cheers Woody.

Yes, but there is no security watching over them as such, but probably more secure than a hotel car park!

Great following you back yesterday Stevo. The pops and bangs from your exhaust were awesome :) :)

Is it simply decatted or is there more witchcraft involved?!

Nice to chat with a few of you guys on Saturday.
Enjoyed seeing the V6's on the road after leaving the gala event. The Copper escorting us down the A43 was a nice touch too!

Huge thanks for all those who turned up, a quality display of cars I think! A big thanks also to Mark Cooper from bringing his awsome Clio Trophy, star of the show on Saturday I think. I know it was a big effort to get here but glad you did, hope you thought it worthwhile.
Despite weather forcasts, there was not a drop of daytime rain on either day although I am glad I was not camping.......bit cold out there in the evenings! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.

Cheers Mark - good to see you again mate. You did a great job of getting everyone in place :)

Shame, that the chavs and general public took it upon themselves to lean over cars, try door handles, touch cars (even with signs it saying please don't touch) and generally not show any respect to the collectors cars! Let down the collectors area as I didn't want to leave my car for long un-attended.
Maybe Renault could look at barriers etc for next years?

Hi all. We just got back from seeing the in-laws. Had a great weekend, great cars and people! We met some new faces and great they were too.

The camping was fun but F**KING cold on Friday night! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Matt, We do agree about the Chavs! Some people are as 'bold a brass'!!!!!
