Wiring diagram

Hi folks,

Can anyone provide a wiring diagram for my Mk1?
The diagrams in the repair manual I know has got a poor quality.
The car won't start and the immobilizer light burns permanent.
Relays and fuses are okay, but the power supply (connector 1 - pin L3) of the ECU is missing.

Looking for something like THIS? That's the one from the Ph1 booklet. There is also another more compact but less complete diagramm.

There is no such thing as a connector 1. They are distinguished by colour: Black (NOire), Greey (GRis) and Brown (MArron).

Also check primary ignition power on Brown B4. Without this, you will never get power on relay switched Black L3, which you are most likely referring to in your first post.

You can save yourself all of this by using a Clip or visiting someone who has one. This great tool tells you in less than a minute whether your ECU is powered or not. And in under 5 minutes you should know if the immobiliser is working properly or not. In the former case you are even likely to get a clue of where the problem lies :)

Hi Jonas,

Thanks for your Input and the link to the wiring diagram.
I had a look to your wiring diagram and the sheet has a better resolution than mine

In my Interpretation of the connector info (in the Ph1 booklet) I thought that the power supply at the ECU is at the black connector L3 switched on by the relays 238. Anyway I will check the power supply on B4.
Clip connection is tested and the control unit for fuel injection cannot be recognized :-(
