use a porter cable polisher, i really want to get a better finish on the vee and i think this is the route to go, i just don't want to jump in with both feet and bollocks it right up if you get me
 
Can't teach you having never used one, but the general comment is that the reason why a PC is good is because it's almost impossible to fuck up your paintwork. I'm thinking I might get one too ... not only for the Vee but for my missus' new car. It's been put through car washes far too often ... being a year old ex-loan car ... and so needs some paint correction!
 
Hey mate, ive just done my vee this weekend. :) Its well worth the money imo. I got a scrap panel to practice on, then other peoples cars ;) get a megs g22o, with some megs 80 and 83. i would show u but ur 2far away :(
 
Number One car polisher only lives 10mls north of you ! Pop round mine and we"ll sort it ! PM me melty :approve:
