Some more work has started on the volvo,
at bit earlier than expected as i smashed my sump of a bump in the road so the engine had to come out to change that over.
as you can see two fractures, luckily i had a spare so could just swap it straight out, ill weld this up and keep it for another spare.

so engine out, its so dam easy in this thing literally took me about a hour from driving to engine out
on to the exciting stuff

so this mounted to the clio power steering and alternator bracket, the trouble is i dont have power steering and i use the volvo alternator mount.
so first of i had to source a clio alternator and power steering bracket.
next the power steering brackets has about 10 different mounting points onto the the block the bottom three are used for the volvo engine mount, there for a lot of grinding filing drilling testing went on so the engine mount could be bolted on.
i tried to keep as many mounting points as i could to the block to it was as solid as possible
once i got it mounted i took it back off and put the engine back in
obviously in the volvo the engine is mounted longitude so everything i got was made redundant apart from the charger itself.
got the engine all mounted and plumbed in and bolted the inlet, charger and alternator back on to see what room i had for pipework
left to order is a couple of pipes, inter cooler, pulley belt and need to shorten the throttle body pipe
heres a picture of a stupid big inter cooler
