Oh and can you get locking wheel nuts of for this set up?

Yes you can James, i bought some for my scooby. You need to buy open ended 12 x 1.5.

Of course your mag wheels are safe as houses with 20 lock nuts. :)

Your car is absolutely stunning matey 8) I'm loving every single mod you've done to it from the single wiper to the wheels, AWESOME!!

Thanks Mike :approve:

I like the Trophy wheels on a modified Vee very much (especially the signiature Illiad colour) and dare say that if a pair came up at a reasonable price, I might be tempted - although I did turn down a pair at one stage ...

What I like about the Vee though is that IMHO the stock wheels are hard if not impossible to beat, some cars just look 'right' with their OEM wheels and I think we probably all agree this of the Vee too :-) So fair play to Mossy, Stevo, James and Phil for making their Vees different but if we all aspired to get Trophy wheels I am not sure the look would be right as again, IMHO, they suit a modified or unique car (there that's for you Sheriff) rather than a standard one with just Trophy wheels on.

Simply put a set of wheels will make or break the aesthetics of any car and i couldn't agree more about the phase 2 wheels suiting the vee so well. :approve:

BUT you know me, i am always messing with the vee in one way or another but i will only undertake mod's that can be easily be reversed back to standard, i will only change something using a replacement part, with all original parts safely stored out of harms way. (The spare bedroom normally ;) ).

So if i was to ever change the wheel's on this legend of a car it would only be for a set of the Cromodora's, so the thought of buying aftermarket wheel's had never really entered my mind as the mythical trophy wheel's were ...... well mythical!! It was only a random pm on here that set my modding head into overdrive - a full set of trophy wheel's for sale, a price was set and the wheels were mine the following weekend

Initially i did question my reasons/sanity for buying them but the good lady wife said buy them, so i did!!!

And (as they say) the rest is history!!! LOL

So thanks again for everyone comments, im just glad i get so much pleasure out of the car and still get that lovely buzz everytime i see it/drive it- even after 5 years of ownership!!!!!

Mossy :race:

Glad you're still loving the Vee Mossy. I'm looking to hopefully make a few mods myself soon (would have bought your Prima Spoiler if I'd seen it earlier! :ihatepcs: )

After all, it was your car that inspired me to get my QS and PiperX back in Donnington when I first bought it! :)

I remember it well Phil, got to be 3 years ago hasn't it??

I'm glad i inspired you - i take pleasure in knowing i am doing something right :)

Cheers matey

Can't wait to get it out of storage! I went to get it out this week for its booked MOT but the damn battery is dead! :violin: lol

LOL .. Amazing feeling to drive the vee after its being laid up for 6 months or so, feels like a new motor again :approve:

Must be something with the illiads Mossy!!!!!!! Put them away in winter and emerge in spring sporting a set of trophy wheels ;)
