WARNING - RENAULT ILFORD!!

About time they start closing them. Impossible as it is, it would be great if the moved a few over from France to take their place. I'll never forget the time we all stopped at the dealer en route to Mas du Clos. They were so passionate about the cars they worked on. They were superb.

Super day that - and we all did that line up on the forecourt too :approve:

Happy days... :) Can imagine if we turned up at a UK dealer like that? We'd probably get told to F off, and park elsewhere.. "You're causing an obstruction!" lol

how does 1 coilpack, 6 spark plugs and a breather pipe (i know the one you mean, they're very brittle, but only about £40) total £650???

Check for misfire - £78.26
1 ignition coil - £45.81
Labour to replace coil number 5 - £118.68
6 spark plugs - £95.70
Labour to replace plugs - £147.70
1 breather pipe £30.70
Labour to replace pipe - £48.37
Total cost £565.22 plus £84.78 vat = £650.00!!!!!

Then I had to go back 7 days later to replace another coil for the bargin price of £98.53!

After feeling completely ripped off, I made up my mind I would never take the car there again... so next time a coil went I printed the guide of the forum, bought a set of tools and changed the damn thing myself!
