where after a 21 turbo fwd, prefer runner. Not after a nice example, its going to be used as testshell for engines (mapping).

Is it going to be transported over to you? May work out more cost effective to buy one with tax n mot, fly over and drive back rather than coming over with a flatbed? If that's the case I know clee's is still for sale.

Yep ,still for sale ....Phase 3 ,all good with long MOT etc .Fly to East Midlands Airport and I'm 20 mins away .

i understand what you're saying but the problem is that the engine goes out and whe can do nothing with that. Got enough engines + anc. I'm after a uk priced car, not the euro rate. LOL

Whe have andy but thats stripped atm and got other plans with that. Whe looking into Clee's car, bit higher in price but maybe the base where after.

I have one here i'm about to break into bits. I want my money back on it, thats all. White Ph3, body isn't great but it's not awful.

I have ~?400 in the car, although I don't know if the owner (Swannie) wants any more on top.

It's had- Top end rebuild- all new gaskets, reground valves, stem seals, head resurface, new cambelt, aux belts, plugs and oil/filter, Bottom end from Ollie with 80k on it. New Turbo Oil Feed pipe from Andy, replacement starter. Done a load of work to remove dodgy wiring.

It needs- Fuel pump, Alternator (overcharging), ideally new engine loom as its a bit scrappy, IACV, TPS, One of the turrets is rusty, rear arches need doing (but they're not gone-gone), Jacking points aren't great, headlight cracked. Still needs a lot of wiring tidying and general tidying, the brakes all need cleaning up as its been stood for ages.
It may need more but i've never driven it.

Project has been abandoned due to a string of failures, extra problems and costs. It's just getting out of control....I told him if he wanted to abandon it i'd write off my labour costs (over 50 hours!!!!!!). I spent three days solid a couple of weeks ago chasing problems- an oil pipe failed, then starter motor issues, then fuel pump relay failed, an injector failed, then the fuel pump failed, and finally the alternator failed. This is all AFTER I have stripped and rebuilt the engine. I've had enough, he doesn't want to spend the ? to get it up to standard so it's about to get a grinder through the roof.
