Will just quickly start this thread as I'm at work just now :)

Bought my 57plate r26 almost 3 years ago, I'm the third owner and it was completely standard when I got it.

Done a few modifications, not everyone will like some of them :) but it's my car and I'm happy with it.
Currently running 285bhp and 290ftlb. :)

Only 1 week after I hit a pheasant at a high speed :( it ripped off the under tray, broke both arch liners, split the bottom of the bumper and ripped a chunk off :(

I am not a fan of the black megs as @Scott Armstrong will testify , however it looks epic on those alloys

Cheers Andy, I did have the original wheels black but it was a bit too much. Bought the rs wheels second hand, they were Kawasaki ninja green at first, needed to get them straightened out as I hit a few potholes and decided to get the colour changed at the same time :)

Just been speaking to my mate who does some of the work on my car, his ramp is free on Thursday, so will be fitting it then. I know it's not an easy task but what's the best way of getting the gearbox out?

Clutch and flywheel is done, was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be, bleeding it was a pain in the arse tho, almost have it 100%.
Also bought some nice tasty upgrades last week which will hopefully be fitted soon, full leather trendlines with matching door cards :)

Already pressure bled it, I'm guessing it's just a small bit of air in the slave as its bled perfectly between the reservoir and the bleed nipple where it goes into the gearbox, the more I've drove it the better it's got so guessing the air has been getting vibrated upto the reservoir.

Fitted the full leather recaro's today, must admit they seem a lot more comfortable than the standard recaro's. Got one problem now, airbag light is on the dash. I changed the passenger side pretensioner as it had been set off, does anything need reset with clip, or do I just need to check the wireing?

@Red21 would probably be able to answer that :)

As for the clutch, if i'm having bleeding issues, i'll compress the piston of the slave right in as far as it will go, pushing the fluid back through the master to the reservoir, then bleed it while held compressed. It's worked a few times, although never tried it on anything newer than early 2000's.
