only at speed and since i lowered it, am thinking wheels catching arch but no evidence of that that i can see as in scrub marks etc, and its a judder really, not a scuffing sound. you can feel it and its not to confidence inspiring!

only happens when i turn left at speed and the higher the speed the less lock i need to put on for it to do it?#

all suspension components are in good condition and all bolts are done up and theres definatly no scuff marks on arches/liners etc etc

idea please!

Cheers

I was going to say perhaps the steering rack, but I doubt it.

Not a caliper problem perhaps?

Perhaps try removing the arch lining for a test and see if it still does it mate?

I got the same problem but only when i turn right, i think my N/S Disc is warped, the calipers should have some movement in them, but not too much

Youve probly got the same problem!

If you sort it mate, let me know! :) i spent over 200 quid on just suspension parts and fitted them myself to sort out the noise, but no luck as of yet!

Mine started doing this today! (except on right turn)

mine feels quite violent though - I'm suspecting the other wheel bearing :(

I suspected that, i changed wheel bearings bottom arms, track rod ends, had it tracked anti roll bar bushes, changed the gearbox and i still got it! @ its sooo fucking annoying! I will beat it one day! :P

cant be driveshaft, they are brand new, bearings are under suspicion, as are wheels, so am checkin them this w/end if i get chance

other idea is dowpipe fouling steering rack, and lookin under car, it is, so i need to sort that but not sure how, its a squeeze as it is and mine doesnt have any adjustable springs/give in the exhaust system, it just hands solid off the turbo!

im pretty sure its not the wheels, ive changed the driveshafts also ... the only thing i think it could be is the strut top mounts onto of the springs, as it only does it under pressure on the left wheel!
I have taken the wheel off, and come off the clutch while my mechanic mate was checking the wheel arch ... he has told me the disc is warped or the caliper is foobared!

Ah well its all good fun in the name of french cars! :P

Can you not get a flexi pipe welded in tho?

ai, gonna have to is i go for full system, as its side exit its not too bad atm tbh

vibration is downpipe on rack, its literally sat on it, no clearance atall, well maybe 1-2mm, i need a solid dogbone!

Are you running a std dogmount? Or have you got it filled and modified in anyway?

I've rotated the bush on mine 90 degress and have tigersealed it, it doesnt move much!

Craig

tigersealed, its solid as you like, but not solid enough!

i have 2 cunning plans tho to put into action! mwuhahahahha!

get a couple of rose joints and some threaded bar. job done! it would even have adjustable length!

no luck with the filter coops the pipercross is 70mm too

2 of these some good quality m10 threaded bar and a couple of m10 nut to lock it up!

great minds mate, i already ordered exactly that off ebay last night, then read this post just!

ok so is that to replace the dogbone mount? and how do you connect it? anyone got any pics?

yes its to replace the dogbone to make it solid and adjust relative engine position within the bay.

nope, not ever been done before i dont think so no pics as yet! this week hopefully when my threaded bar shows up and i can fabricate it and trail run it, not sure if it'll snap or be crap or what!

ok mate, if you could let me know how you get on it will be appreciated!mine seems to have got worse since the engine change! :S
