heya guys,

my valver will start and idle at around 1100 - 1500 revs or it will start, fire up then die straight away! :(

i have adjusted the throttle cable under the bonnet (hence why it idles high!)

but everytime you floor it in first then clutch and pull to a stop, it just dies!

is it something to do with the ISCV? if so where is this located and what can i do about it?

if i hold it at any revs it fine, i can hold it on the bite up too 850 rpm on the clutch if i want to and its fine! its only when im nowhere near the accelerator pedal that it does it and its so annoying to have to keep re-starting especially when the immobiliser is having an eppy fit!

please help! *cutes puppy eyes look*

how on earth cant you drive in towns?

it literally does it everytime you put the clutch down!

oh mine aint that bad yet but sometimes afer i slow down i go to pull out when i see a gap and there aint nothing there....and sometimes nearly lose it goind into a turn coz the steerin goes hard!! lol

Could be the sensor on the gearbox under the thermostat housing? Theres a guide on how to clean your ISCV by Gav

Hard steering? I'm used to a car without assisted steering, can be a little annoying with a large engine and moving slowly
