uprated head gaskets

bidderman1969

detailer
where can you get them for, for the F7p's?

tried ebay, where i saw them before, tried google, tried K-Tec

they were about £55

:?

k-tec have the full kit in their catalogue, uprated for 65 pound, think you seen that one baz

Again, what do you need it for?

What makes you think it will be any better on a stock engine than the one that Renault spent thousands of Francs developing and testing?

Neal, Neal, Neal, Nealio, Neally-poo, Nealy honey bun baby binky boo.

Don't question its better to laugh later

its just with everything else, i just want one thats better than stock. seems to be a common failure with them, just wanna have piece of mind

I have yet to actually change or see a blown one.

I have seen plenty rotten ones which are due to poor maintenance, ones which have had blow by due to knackered heads or incorrect torque procedures.

But even the turbo'd ones will not blow the gasket if they are uprated PROPERLY

its only common because retards dont know how to maintain them or use proper coolant!

While on that subject Just out of curiosity what coolant do you recommend as I've had a couple of conficting opinions and don't want to complete an engine rebuild myself only to feck it up with something so simple as the wrong coolant.:?

i had two different 1.4's both with hg issues, mind you i had bought them like that so i cant vouch for the maintenance of them but i always make it a point of keeping everything in that dept sorted. The first one was definitely caused by dodgy thermostat

pray tell what secret ingredient is added to renault coolant to make it differ from the comma coldstream.
