Morning all.
Just joined after seeing a few Audyspec vids. What he does is pretty sweet!
I am currently in a Clio 4 RS, yellow. I also have a Twingo RS 133 in Mirage Grey parked up ready for some interesting days of tinkering.
I enjoy heading to track days and meets, and have a couple planned in the next few months.

With so many things I want to do with these two beasts and several repairs needed for the daily, the progress I am sure will be slow. I will try and get some pics up of both where I can.
Keep you posted!

Thanks for the replies.

I plan to be quite active over the summer. Both cars have their issues, so plan to address them all whilst it's warmer. I also don't have an indoor space to work on them and, I hate the cold.
The first thing... RS Monitor unlock 😁

Oh and a couple of pics.

One of the Clio at dusk, and the other at Cadwell Park from Monday

it is a symposer or acoustic valve. It does add sound to the cabin, it is not needed and sometimes rattles.

I have completely removed mine (y)

Consider it gone, mine sounds terrible. 😂 It looks like it's connected to the throttle body? Is there a fix for this.
you will need a blanking cap/plug for the bit that joins the intake pipe. I cant remember the size off the top of my head

I did the plugs last weekend. I have oil on C2 and C3, C1 and C4 were okay. I'm guessing this is the valve seals, will take a look this weekend.

The stupid "acoustic box" should be gone soon as well. Just need to order the cold side boost pipe from Airtec, whilst it's off probably clean off the TCB and possibly paint it as well. Mine looks like a moldy swamp, and could do with a spruce up.

Oh, and BOV fitted for the sheer enjoyment of it. Hahaha.

Had a horrible knocking noise from the drivers front wheel, only when setting off from stopped and on certain dips in the road which can be felt in the accelerator pedal. No idea what this is, but I have some Romanian gangsters looking at it in the weekend. The engine sounds quite rough still at idle, but just hoping the seals sort that. It does sound like its coming from the rear of the engine at the top, kinda hoping its something to do with the Turbo so I can justify replacing it. I heard it might be the "flap"... no idea! We will see.

Front tyres, alloy repair and wheel alignment hopefully by the end of the month ready for Stafford Showground in a couple of weeks. Anyone going Max Power reunion?
