tyres 45s/55s?

just put some different wheels on my car and theyve got 195/15/55s on.my old wheels had 195/15/45s on.it feels quite different imo as now i dont feel every bump in the road but which is better in peoples opinion?? 45s or 55s

45 look slim and r more expensive than 50. i use 50 as this is most common size and there r a wider choice of tyres too.
