the more i look at the mk3's the better they get.
they look really good in white aswell i think, so much effort keeping it clean though!!

Twingo finally built back up and dropped off with it's new owner (martin_172 on CS). Looks like itll be reshelled into a facelift, which I believe were only available in GT form in Europe. Glad itll continue to be a project!

Collecting a Megane 250 later today hopefully.

Collected the Megane 2 nights back and gave it a bit of clean yesterday.

So far, I'm really pleased. As with every car, theres a few like things to tidy up.

Quite an unfortunate reg plate too...





Garage is riot at the moment since I've gotten rid of an old garden shed!

I've got a private reg that came with a car I bought years ago. Think itll have to be transferred across.

So ...... turns out the Twingo is straight and the subframe i bought was out!

Least it went to my mate lol...

Having stripped it down for the timing belt etc, I was fairly sure it hadn't been properly smashed. Glass was original. No signs of impact damage.

But figured the measurements told a different story, and convinced myself that its likely had an impact at the wheel/hub area which has been enough to move things. In honesty, it had proper annoyed me which made me want rid.

My mate takes ownership and said before he goes any further, he'd try a 3rd subframe. Strips the car again, offers up the new subframe, and it goes straight on!

So the Twingo lives to see another day.

He's not done much to it yet and it'll stay in the silver shell i expect. Still working on the van with the 182 running gear.

There is a Ktec exhaust coming for it though.
