turbo upgrade?!

Damn, this goes way back (in time)...

Bought them brandnew from ATP turbo, 1 for Phill and 1 for myself. The housing was to small for the route whe wanted to go and changed bought units for GT series with .63 housings. As far as i remember, thats the story behind it. My car did 238 at the wheels with this turbo and took it off withing the run-in mileages. No idea what it does on any std engine, never tested that.

The specname from ATP turbo was T34 quick spool Stage II

I know you only did a couple hunderd km's on it, and found it to small ;-) You only like turbines that fit your head lol ;-)

700 euro's guys

(and I've got a pipercam camshaft 276? profile with extra lift.)

Hello guys! very nice forum :) I like this site )

jepz, and including delivery by me to your door.

No offcourse not. That's the turbo, the cam sets you back another 350, so if you buy them both I'll make it an even 1000.
Now ain't I nice?

Would you let the cam go seperately?

I might, but it works very well combined with the mentioned turbo ;-) That's why i got the combo in the first place :P

Guys, tell me please. Standard turbocharger has A/R 42 & 48.
42 is for cold part and 48 is for hot part? Or on the contrary?

Thanks, Jo.
I'm asking because some T25 chargers have alike A/R.
Is it possible to use this chargers?

the turbine (hotside) never fits because the manifold flange has T3 dimensions, meaning, bigger then T2/T25/T28. The compressor (coldside) and core can fit, depending on the size.

Is that the one that gets hot after the car has been running?

You know, the one you put your hand on? :biggrin1:

That turbo is good, just don't use the exhaust housing. Dave, larson and a few others have them, its the same as a cosworth 4x4 apart from the exhaust housing

Cracking unit. Use mine with a .48 housing and 38mm external wastegate.

It fookin *shifts*, and I mean it harasses mapped focus RS's and RS4's.
